Injection Moulding

Dolphin has 26 injection moulding machines (Sumitomo, Boy, Arburg, Engel and NPM Unyka) ranging from 25 Tonnes to 160 Tonnes clamp and shot capacity from 0.05 gms to 360 gms. Many of these machines are entirely closed-loop for maximum efficiency and precision. In addition, there are three 22 T vertical-platen machines for specialised insert moulding applications.

Many of these machines are equipped with computer-controlled robots for faultless process management, offering repeated and consistent quality all the time.

Dolphin has been moulding a wide range of plastics such as ABS, PA, PA6/66, POM, ABS/PC, PP, HDPE. Consequently, a substantial experience and expertise has been gained about processing characteristics, final product property and suitability of specific plastics for specific application. This experience is shared with customers in the form of assistance with material selection for new products.
