Guided Tour
The following images show the key features of the Dolphin Chip
Designer. Click on the images to see a larger picture.

Bank Manager
This screen handles all the operations of the chip banks; create,
delete, modify, preview, print and e-mail chip banks. |
|
|
Edge Pattern Design
This chip design screen enables the user to create new chips
in the chip bank and modify their edge patterns, colours and
decals. This screen shot shows the selection of edge patterns.
Available chip types are divided into groups according to their
size, edge patterns and number of available colours. |
|
|
Colour Selection
This image shows the colour selection for the currently edited
chip. Note how easy it is to create new chips and to design
their edge patterns and colours. |
|
|
Chip Browser
Allows to scroll through all available chip designs which are
grouped by their characteristics eg. 39mm, 2 colour. |
|
|
Stack View
Selecting the stack view shows all the chips in the bank as
if they are stacked one on top of the other. This can be very
useful to check whether the various chips are working well together
in terms of colour balance and edge pattern diversity. |
|
|
Decal Selection
Some of Dolphin's chips can have a standard decal on them. The
decal may contain numbers (1-12), letters (A-Z) or 20 different
symbols. This window allows the user to choose a decal. |
|
|
Preview Screen
Allows an overall look at the Chip Bank and to check how well
the chips are working together. This is a great method of making
sure that the edge patterns of the chips are consistent, and
that the colors are working well together. The Preview screen
shows the defined chips, one next to each other, with or without
their side view. In order to test how the chips will look when
they are put on various surfaces such as casino tables, the
background colour of the window can also be changed. |
|
|
E-mail
Once the chip bank design is completed, it can be sent to Dolphin.
This automatic and simple process ensures that the customer
gets exactly the chips designed, without mistakes in the colours
or the edge patterns. |
